HOW DID IT ALL START

Ginger & Honey was started in a small two-bedroom apartment in the South Bronx. I was in a place where PAIN + PASSION met. I had just lost my job, ended a relationship, and it was just a HORRIBLE time for me and on top of all that my skin began to show it. When trying to find relief with store bought producs it made the problem worst. So, one day I was in Harlem and there was an Afican market that I stopped in. and found Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter and Organic Coconut Oil. I made my purchase jumped back on the 5 train and headed straight to the kitchen. From there I LOST TRACK OF TIME! It wasn't so much as to what the better quality of ingredients that cleared my skin, but it was HOW it made me feel. My sister and Co-Founder Roe tried it and told me "You have something here!"
